Flashback for Years

I’m driving on my way to school. I pull into the parking lot and I see my boyfriend. I get out of my car and walk over to him. We are in the court yard by the main office building. He is holding me close to his body, to where I can feel his heartbeat on my chest. We both look at each other, he is leaning in and his lips touch mine. After we shared our first kiss we start holding each other tighter and tighter.
Today is a warm, cool day. I am on my way to see my cousin Deondrai graduate today. Today I get to see  my cousin do something that I will be doing in three years and that is walking down the stage getting a diploma. Here I am watching my big cousin graduate. My cousin is getting called and he is walking across the stage, as he grabs his diploma, tears start to roll down like a waterfall.
Here I am seven years old and I am getting the chance to hold my niece for the very first time. She is in my arms; she starts to smile at me. As I am looking at her toothless smile, I began to smile and cry my heart out. As I try to lay her down she starts to cry, so I pick her back up, and she is slowly going to sleep in my arms.

Don't Judge

"A very old Man with Enormous Wings" by Gabriel Garcia  Marquez, is a tale of mistreatment, torture, and ridicule. It can teach us not to judge anyone by their appearance.
The very old man was an angel and he couldnt get up because of his wings. Instead of helping hi, Pelayo and Elisenda locked up the angel to view and torture him like a circus animal instead of  a magical creature.
They locked him up in a wire chicken coop. Tossing food through the opening of the chicken coop like he was an animal instead of a magical creature. People came to view and torture him, by "burning his side with an iron for branding steers, because he had been motionless for so many hours that they thought he was dead.
I have not only read this story but witnessed someone, a close friend to me and my cousin, get get mocked and tortured. She was being raped by her father everynight and day while her mother wasn't home. When she tried to tell her mother, she thought she was lying and she wouldnt believe her. Whenever she went to school, the other girls would call her names, not knowing her conditions at home.
She wanted to kill herself, she tried to overdose but we stopped her before she could. We took her to the hospital and they pumped her stomach to get it out of her system.
The point I'm trying to make is that you should never judge someone by what they look like, what they wear, or who they are. WHAT IF IT WAS YOU!!!
